He was predeceased by: his parents, June Cumbey and Ivis Cumbey (McFadden); and his former wife Patricia Cumbey (Varner). He is survived by: his wife Renee Castillo Cumbey; his children, Gregory Don Cumbey (Ilana) of Fairfax, VA, Tamatha Luebke (Ronald) of Tulsa, OK and Jerry Cumbey (Casey) of Laurel, DE.; his siblings, Steve (Etta), Elaine Cumbey Seago, Lyna Collins and Kathy Cumbey Jones; his grandchildren, Catherine Lister, Justin Cumbey, Jordan Gulbranson (Connor), Kennedie Ebersole, Alexandra Cumbey, Lucy Cumbey and Logan Cumbey; his great grandchildren, Pasia Peperas, Anaveya Peperas, Amelia Gulbranson, Emory Gulbranson and Alaina Gulbranson; his great great grandchild Zayla Gonzales; and his caregiver Sweetie Thompson. He is also survived by nephews, cousins and many friends.
