She is survived by: her children, Renay James (Wilson), Carla Bentford (Wilson), Kevin McClendon and Gwen McClendon; her siblings, Tenetia James (Shoals) and Larry Shoals; and her sister-in-law Edith Shoals. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, countless grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
