Irene James Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene James of Tulsa, Oklahoma, who passed away on May 23, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Irene may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Irene touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her husband Victory Leroy; and her children, Dennis, Brian, Keith, Steven, Elaine Disbrow and Hava Benyosef. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the JIM Groesbeck Memorial Chapel at Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service (211 E Broadway St, Sand Springs, OK 74063).
