She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Smith and Mittie Smith; her husband Ruel Jack Daugherty Sr.; her son Billy Joe Daugherty (Sharon); her siblings, Theran Smith, Hazel Ezell, Lalia Almond and Helen Smith; her daughter-in-law Liz Daugherty; and her nieces, Shirley Fortenberry, Anne Hedgecock and Jamie Gather.

She is survived by: her sons, Ruel Jack Jr. of Texarkana, TX and Charles Daugherty; her daughters-in-law, Linda of Crossville, TN and Sharon Daugherty of Tulsa, OK; her grandchildren, Brian (Michele Daugherty), Mike (Tamara Daugherty), Sarah (Caleb Wehrli), Ruthie (Adam Sanders), John Daugherty of Tulsa, OK and Paul (Ashley Daugherty); her nieces and nephews, Turner Almond of Dallas, TX, Greg Smith of Cedar Creek, TX, Gordon Smith of Cedar Creek, TX, Gwendolyn McKeller of Bossier City, LA and Sherry Deluky of Tulsa, OK; and her great grandchildren, Jackson, Cole, Logan, Isaac, Lizzy, Harrison, Tovah, Blythe, Liam, Ziva, Jude, Benny, Monty, Mac, Ardon, Ellie, Emma and Gianna.
