He was predeceased by: his parents, Doice Burford and Magdalene Mae McDonald (Erdmann); and his brother Paul McDonald. He is survived by: his close friend Gene Martin; his siblings, Cindy Root (Jeff) and Harold McDonald (Debbie); and his nieces and nephews, Meredith Fuller (Justin), Ashley Mathis (Bobby) and Jonathan Root. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
