It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Dale Davis of Tulsa, Oklahoma, born in Amarillo, Texas, who passed away on May 11, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Davis; his parents, Kent Davis and Lela Davis; his sister Dorothy Wicker; and his parents-in-law, Stacy and Nanabelle Guthrie.
He is survived by: his daughters, Christy Gilliam of Tulsa and Julie Frohrip (John) of Tulsa; his granddaughter Ashleigh Frohrip; his great grandchild August; and his grandchildren, Madeline Frohrip, Jackson Gilliam and Charlie Gilliam. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
