He is survived by: his siblings, Nat Henshaw, Jack Henshaw and Jean Mahaney; his former wife Patricia Sue Patterson; his daughter Sandy; his wife Janice Eileen McDillon; his daughter Sharon (Juan Leon); his grandsons, Michael Leon and Marco Leon (Madison); and his nieces, Janine Vanvalkenburgh (Kirk), Leslie Morris (David) and Linda Fisher.

In Lieu of flowers family suggests donations to John Knox Church or National Foundation for Autistic Research.
