With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jane Button of Tulsa, Oklahoma, born in Fort Smith, Arkansas, who passed away on January 12, 2024 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Christine Jesperson Cannon and Fred J. Cannon; her husbands, Herman W. Smith, Jr. of Parsons and A. Dwight Button; and her stepson Tom Button.
She is survived by: her children, Cristi L. Wilson (William), Kent H. Smith (Cherie) and Sandra S. Smith; her stepsons, Gary Button (Valerie) and Steve Button (Connie Lee); her daughter-in-law Yolanda Button; her grandchildren, Robert L. Wright, III (Megan), Ryan C. Wright-Spain (Troy), Kelly James Smith (Chassidy), James M. Harper, III, Kelli E. Brown (Jeremy), Edward A. Button (Sita Siutz), Jason D. Button (Lindsay) and Alex Button (Ayana); and her great grandchildren, Robert L. Wright, IV, Michael T. Wright, Lyra L. Spain, Maya M. Spain, Jaylyn L Smith, Jordan D. Cunningham, Zachary J. Brown, Chloe E. Brown, Aaron T. Siutz, Emily Z. Siutz, Tristan Button (Julie), Meredith Button, Audrey Button and Lucy Button.
