With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Cleaver (Tulsa, Oklahoma), who passed away on January 22, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Jean may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jean touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ted Scholz and Meta Scholz; her brother Jack; and her daughter Mary Jo Toso. She is survived by: her children, Lori Broermann (Martin), Janet Rhodes, Victor Cleaver (Damia) and Ed (Colleen). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to Gideons International, a non-profit organization that distributes bibles to students, hotels, hospitals, prisons, and more.
