He was predeceased by: his wife Martha Ann Gibson; his parents, Jess B. Gibson Sr. and Bessie Gibson (Williams); and his granddaughter Katie Jo Wiley. He is survived by: his daughters, JoAnn Clay and Janet Jones; his grandchildren, Joshua Wiley, Jessica McCabe and April Wiley; and his great grandchildren, Abby Wiley, Ella McCabe, Evelyn McCabe and Ewan McCabe.
