With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John E. Wilkens of Tulsa, Oklahoma, who passed away on November 6, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Wilkens and Mattie Wilkens (Nave); his wife Gloria Jean Wilkens; his son Kelly Medders; and his grandson Joshua Welch.
He is survived by: his children, Cathy Shaddox, Tammy Welch, Tim Wilkens and Anita Wilkens; his grandchildren, Michael Medders, Jessica Crye, John Shaddox, Lauren Bryan, Jonathan Welch, James Welch, Joseph Welch, Jamie Bernheisel, Jenna Welch, Jacob Welch, Jordan Shock, Raven Mize, Timber Wilkens and Cody Wilkens; and his nephew Charles Wilkens. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren; two sisters.
