He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hunter Poe Sr. and Patty Lee Poe (Smith); his wife Charlotte Kovacich; and his brother Lewis Poe. He is survived by: his daughter Suzanne; and his son-in-law Konrad Yarbrough.
