With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John Douglas Stahl (Tulsa, Oklahoma), born in Slaton, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Linus Stahl and Olivia Nesbitt Stahl; and his sister Janis Stahl Cummings (Billy). He is survived by: his wife Carol Stahl; his brother Van Stahl; his children, Pete Stahl (Sheila), Pam Gallaher (Rob), Phill Stahl, Mark Stahl (Laurie), Kirk Stahl and Valerie Heick; and his stepchildren, Marjorie Evilsizer, Janet Bender (Robby) and Matthew Michaels. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fitzgerald Southwood Chapel (3612 E 91st St, Tulsa, OK 74137).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Saint Pius X Catholic Church, University of Texas, or Meals on Wheels.
