He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Gomez and Edelia Gomez (Flores); his wife Louise Gomez; his grandchildren, Patricia Gomez and Payzley Chadwick; and his son-in-law Havus Chadwick.
He is survived by: his children, Johnny E. Gomez, Jr. (Lisa), Donald L. Gomez, Tama M. Chadwick (Monte), Stanley H. Gomez (Barbie) and Kimberly A. Timmons (Bryan); his grandchildren, Angela Gomez, Faith Kelly, Jeffery Gomez, Shane Gomez, Jessica Chastain, Andrea Beck, Levi Gomez, Abbie Gomez, Havus Chadwick III, Mitchell Chadwick, Steve Chadwick, Brian Chadwick and Candi McClellan; his children, Megan Minihan, Austin Gomez, Alex Gomez, Whitney Cornish, Christopher Hall, Tiffany Pulliam, Garret Timmons and Stefanie Dömel; and his close friend Rosemary Kelly. He is also survived by 53 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
