He is survived by: his wife Ann Radford of Washington; his daughter Elizabeth Carter Radford; his sister Janis Radford-Thomas; his niece Sydney Fedesna; his sister-in-law Jody Radford; and his grandchildren, Jason Radford, Judson, Ben and Hailey Radford.

The family has requested that memorials be made in his memory to the Trinity Episcopal Church Endowment Fund, Iron Gate or American Diabetes Association.
