He is survived by: his wife Casandra Gillinger; his children, Amanda Kelly and Joseph Gillinger II; his siblings, Russell, Grace and Maxine; and his grandchildren, Jasper Reid Gillinger, Johnathan Dean, Alexis Haven Dunagun and William Leo Kelly VI.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Stillwater - Dighton Marler Funeral Home (5106 N Washington St, Stillwater, OK 74075). A burial will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Morrison Cemetery.
