She was predeceased by: her mother Norma Carpenter; her brother Michael Carpenter; and her nieces, Erica Angelo and Rachael Angelo. She is survived by: her husband Roy Ward of Clifton, CO; her daughters, Amanda Fern (Jeremy) of Collinsville, OK and Melinda Tabb (Jared) of Austin, TX; her stepdaughter Rebekah Butte (Scott) of Virginia Beach, VA; her father Merlin Carpenter (Debbie) of Springfield, MO; her siblings, David Carpenter of Springfield, MO, Patricia Hudson (Jerry) of Saraland, AL and Juanita Angelo (David) of Circleville, NY; her grandchildren, Braden, Hunter, Hailey, Lily-Kate, Lucy, Chloe, Kadence and Scott Jr.; and her former husband Ed Vickery. She is also survived by her sisters-in law, brothers-in-law, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
