She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Hayes and Mary Ann Hayes (Davis); and her brother Ronnie Hayes. She is survived by: her husband John Royal Parsons; her daughter Shanna Chick; and her brothers, David Hayes and Roger Hayes. She is also survived by four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
She proudly graduated with the Class of 1970 in Barnsdall before embarking on a path that would lead her to make significant contributions to society.
