He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Clay Goodin and Wilma Catherine Goodin (Chicken); his sister Pat Parscal of Okmulgee; his son Jason Charles Goodin; and his stepson Tony Leon Harris.

He is survived by: his wife Miriam; his brother Rev. Bill Goodin of Coulee Dam, Washington; his children, Matthew C. Goodin (Erin) of Edmond, Oklahoma and Leslie A. Merrell (David) of Park Hill, Oklahoma; and his stepson Tommy Lee Harris (Elizabeth). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren; and a wide host of cousins, nieces, and nephews, and many friends.
