He is survived by: his wife Mary Johnson (Askew); his children, Amelia Hardesty, Michelle Hardesty and Ryan Hardesty; his siblings, Carey Hardesty and Robbie Thames; his grandchild Chris; and his great grandchild Davina. He is also survived by several other relatives and friends.

During the challenging times of the Covid pandemic, Keith extended a helping hand by anonymously delivering boxes of food to those in need.
