He is survived by: his wife Frankie Cates; his children, Toni Gant (Jimmy Gant), Tara Cates and Larry Cates, Jr.; and his grandchildren, Caleb, Paige Gant, Caitlin, Owen Eckhardt, Silas and Lane Cates.
