He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen Totten and Pearl Totten; and his stepson Brian Smart. He is survived by: his wife Lavonne Totten; his children, Trace Totten (Sherry), Laura Totten (Dan), Susan Johnson (Tim) and Mark Totten (Dannica); his stepchildren, David Smart (Karen), Nicki Argo (Jeff) and Tara Nichols (Clint); and his sister Sharon Kessinger. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
