She was predeceased by: her parents, Fletcher Carter and Olive Carter; her husband Vernon Taliaferro; and her siblings, Elsie Lane, Pearl Jarvis, Inez Benefield and Leonel Carter.
She is survived by: her great grandchildren, Katie, Lucy, Jenny, Tommy, Ashley, Erin, Emily, Peyton, Parker, Mina, Samantha, Clara and Donovan. She is also survived by Her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
