He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Kimbrel, Sr. and Margaret Kimbrel (Wilson); and his son Lennis Burl Kimbrel, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Leria Bray (Brian), Sharita Hollinger Kimbrel and Stacy Kimbrel (Christina); his siblings, Margaret Slade, Dwight Kimbrel (Rosemary), Brenda Young (Donnel), Dwila Kimbrel and Morris Kimbrel, Jr. (Laura); and his close friend Janet Brown Asberry. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
