It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leola C. Jurrens of Tulsa, Oklahoma, who passed away on November 11, 2025, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester George and Pearl Anne Hawkey (Davis); her husband Lawrence Donald Jurrens of Avon, SD.; her sisters, Leona Shea (Conley) and Leora Walsh (Lawrence); her brother-in-law George Burma; and her nephew Doyle Burma.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cheryl Tewell (Dennis) of Colleyville, TX and Rhonda Hicks (Edward) of Tulsa, OK; her grandchildren, Crissie Fortmeyer (Erik) of Colleyville, TX, Lorrie Tewell of Euless, TX, Geoffrey Hicks and Andrew Hicks (Veinia); her great grandchildren, Spencer, Noah and Ethan; and her sister Alyce Caryl Burma of Claremore, OK.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Stanleys Funeral Home (3959 E 31st St, Tulsa, OK 74135).
