With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lonnie Nichols of Tulsa, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 3, 2025 at the age of 47. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Lonnie farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Lonnie is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his mother Pearlie Victoria Nichols. He is survived by: his father Arlester Nichols; his wife Laticia Nichols; his children, Talia Brown-Nichols and Devon Brown-Nichols; and his siblings, Sandra Nichols, Carolyn McKenzie, Arlester Jr., Anthony Nichols, Clifton Nichols and Sheldrick McDowell of Forrest City, Arkansas. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Butler-Stumpff & Dyer Funeral Home & Crematory (2103 E 3rd St, Tulsa, OK 74104).
