He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle Bresnahan and Adah Lenore Hoop; his son Steven Lyle Hoop; and his siblings, Jack Hoop, Emily Ann Sessions and Martha Hoop.
He is survived by: his wife Hannah Hoop; his children, John Hoop (Kendra), Julie Littleton (Greg) and Lisa Arrington (Kevin); and his sister Jenette "Jenny" Kahler. He is also survived by grandchildren, (14) great-grandchildren, along with nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
