He was predeceased by: his wife Melba; his daughter Debi; his parents, Clarence Cherry and Nellie Cherry; and his brother Ralph.
He is survived by: his sons-in-law, Roger, Steve Cherry (Yolanda), David Cherry (Robin) and Scott Cherry (Karen); and his siblings, Dorothy Hughes, Dale Cherry (Sue) and Randal Cherry (Rosa Lee). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.
