With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Margie Leola Byrum (Tulsa, Oklahoma), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Beulah Mae Spangler and James Alfred Spangler; her brothers, Norman Spangler, Jimmie Spangler and Alfred Spangler Junior; and her sons, Mark Lee Byrum and Clifton Mallory Byrum.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathi Knipfer; her grandchildren, Mark Lee Knipfer (Anna) of Atlanta, Georgia and Joshua Shane Knipfer (Johanna) of Tulsa, Oklahoma.; and her great grandchildren, Noah, Zoe Knipfer of Atlanta and Eliza Knipfer of Tulsa. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Margie's "famous neighborhood garden" on South Norfolk was showcased on Channel 2 news during the COVID-19 pandemic.
