It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marjorie Lee Horton in Tulsa, Oklahoma, born in Emporia, Kansas, who passed away on April 24, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert E. Lee and Lucile Hubbard (Crumley); and her brother Chris Hubbard. She is survived by : her children, Monty Horton (Lisa) of Perryton, OK and Debby Lay (Mike) of Jenks, OK; and her grandchildren, Shawn Lay, Matthew Lay and Stacy Lay Whitworth of Ashley Ewy, A. J. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home (605 State St, Emporia, KS 66801). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Victory Fellowship Foursquare Church (693 Rd 190, Emporia, KS 66801). A burial was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Phillips Cemetery (1700 Rd 275, Reading, KS 66868).
