He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Stutts and Mary Ellis Stutts; his wife Dorothy Mae; his daughter Dora Stutts; his granddaughters, Kelli Waggoner and Deanna McCarty (Robert McCarty); and his great grandchildren, Riley Strickland and Ilianna Strickland.
He is survived by: his children, Michelle Strickland, Royce Stutts, Cory Stutts and Ronnie Reid; his grandchildren, Ashley Boen, Matthew Gardner, Amber Gardner and Kira Strickland; his great grandchildren, Elissa Strickland, Jamie Boen, Erin Boen, David Boen, Logan Strickland, Nathan Allison, Ryan Peppentenzza Zoe Barnett and Trenton Barnett; and his cousin Betty McCullough.
He stayed active even with the limitations of Alzheimer's and dementia.
