She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis C. Elliott and Loyce F. Elliott of Stillwater, Oklahoma.; her siblings, Lenora Smithee and Lewis C. Elliott Jr.; her son Joe; her granddaughter Jennifer L. Sudar; her siblings-in-law, Lee Smithee, George Schmitt, Louis Schmitt and Betty Schmitt; and her siblings' children, Lewis Elliott, Larry Smithee, Gary Smithee, Charlie Elliott, Sheila Gibson and Betty Sue Denny.
She is survived by: her husband Charles E. Schmitt (Charlie); her daughter Carol; her son-in-law Ronnie Phillips; her son Bob; her grandchildren, Vickie Chesser and Jerrod Phillips; her great grandchildren, Rowdy Chesser, Rhianna Chesser and Caden O'Bryan; and her sisters-in-law, Patricia Schmitt and Sue Elliott.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Mark Griffith Memorial Funeral Home-Westwood Chapel (4424 S 33rd W Ave, Tulsa, OK 74107). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Berryhill Baptist Church (6035 W 40th St, Tulsa, OK 74107). A burial was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at the Woodland Memorial Park (1200 N Cleveland Ave, Sand Springs, OK 74063).
