It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew Garrett Braly (Tulsa, Oklahoma), who passed away on April 20, 2020, at the age of 31, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Sherri Lynn Braly (Rowell); and his grandparents, Herman, Wanda Rowell and Merlin Knight Braly. He is survived by: his father Eric Paul Braly; his grandmother Margarita Braly; and his sister Sarah Smith (Jesse). He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

“There was a storm yesterday that made me think of a few months back when Matt called me from Florida. He was living with a couple who lived near a beach and there was a hurricane coming. Instead of being safe inside he was sitting on the porch watching the storm come. I told him that was stupid and he needed to go inside. He said he had never seen one before and wanted to see what it was like. He was a good guy with a really mean brain.”
