He is survived by: his mother Virginia Kidd; his wife Victoria Parks; his children, Stephan Cockrell, Maeson Cockrell, Dyllion Cockrell, Joe Cockrell, Jr., Janielynn Cockrell, Julianne Cockrell, Nikolas Thompson, Journi Giabbai, Leah Giabbai, Wylie Reese and Evelin Lankford; his sisters, Donya McCobb and Charlotte Alexander; and his granddaughters, Emberlyn and Lenora. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
