She was predeceased by: her parents, Minton Wheeler Meek and Edith Velma Meek (Orwig); her son Robert Armstrong; her brother Charles Meek; and her sister-in-law Pat Meek Romero.

She is survived by: her husband A. Richard Johnson, Jr.; her daughter Kathy; her son-in-law Christopher Hummell; and her stepsons, Stephen Johnson and Brian Johnson (Tresa Johnson). She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren; and her 13 great grandchildren.
