She was predeceased by : her parents, Chester Hershey and Louise Hershey; her husband Jimmy Dawson; and her sister Mary Lou Mitchelle. She is survived by : her sister Sheila Ahrend; her daughters, Debbie Koepp-Travis (Craig) of Mannford, Sherry McCullough (Billy) of Collinsville and Angie Griffin (David) of Broken Arrow; her grandchildren, Ronnie Koepp, Heather Ibanez, Kadie Griffin, Matthew Koepp, Brooke Rogers, Garrett McCullough and Rylie Griffin; and her great grandchildren, Elijah Ibanez, Cullen Ibanez, Bella Ibanez, Bryce Griffin, Owen Griffin, Gemma Griffin, Navy Rogers, Neely Rogers, Conner McCullough and Weston McCullough.

Viewing was held on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schaudt's Tulsa Funeral Service Chapel (5757 S Memorial Dr, Tulsa, OK 74145). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Boston Avenue United Methodist Church (1301 S Boston Ave, Tulsa, OK 74119). A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 16th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (5111 S Memorial Dr, Tulsa, OK 74145).
