It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ona Lee Cootes (Tulsa, Oklahoma), born in Rochester, Texas, who passed away on August 15, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Caldwell David and Cora Lee Bell; her brother Dewey David; her husband Howard Cootes; and her sons-in-law, Jack Stults and Ron Roselius.

She is survived by: her daughters, Roxanna Stults and Christy Roselius; and her grandchildren, Melissa Richardson (Jeff), Lorie Holland (Brian), Ricky Roselius (Anne), Kelly Moyer (Chet) and Andy Roselius (Amanda). She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.

“Roxanna, I worked at Aberdeen as the sales director with Anita for about two years. I enjoyed seeing your mom everyday.. I was sorry to hear the news about her passing. I loved seeing Ona at meal times and dominos. A day didn't go by without her asking me when they were playing dominos or if i wanted to play dominos with her. She was such joy to be around. I hope to make it today at 1. Keeping your family in my prayers. I will miss her. My Condolences, God Bless, Steven DeGeorge”
