She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Simmons and Golda Simmons; her husband Dr. Harold Romer; her brother Ronnie Simmons (Leah); and her siblings-in-law, John Carlton Romer, Robert Romer (Velrie), Howard Romer (Alice) and Dorothy Ann Romer. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
