She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick G. Ross and Margaret Ross; her husbands, William E. Roop Sr. and Shannon Melton; and her son Frederick J. Roop (Rick).
She is survived by: her children, Will E. Roop (Tammy M. Roop), Margaret I. Snyder (Greg Snyder) and Lesley Lemmons; and her stepson William T. Roop (Carla Roop). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
