He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Martin Pickens and Delores Shirley (Gage); his son Odis Martin Pickens II; and his siblings, Ronald Pickens, Teresa Miller and Otis Mark Pickens.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Pickens; his children, Tammy Pickens, Patricia Lederman (Jay) and Randall Pickens, Jr. (Tina); and his grandchildren, Zoe Villagomez, Zeke Villagomez, Jacob Lederman (Hannah), Gloria Brand (Matthew), Samuel Lederman (Haley), Lauren Lederman, Kristine Benz (Trevor), Katie Pickens, Caleb Pickens, Zach Pickens (Lizzie) and Emily Pickens. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
