He is survived by: his wife Paula "PJ"; his children, Todd Brooks (Jan) and Tiffany Carter (Gary); his grandsons, Tyler Brooks (Gracie) and Preston Carter; his great grandchild Ellington Rae Brooks; and his siblings, Dwight Boman (Karen) and Jane Piercy (Jon). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
