Robert James Warren Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert James Warren of Tulsa, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 7, 2021 at the age of 58. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Robert (Rob) was born the youngest of 8 children to David Allan and Viola Elean (Boda) Warren, in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Rob moved with the family to Tulsa, Oklahoma in August of 1971, and then to Cypress, Texas in the summer of 1975. He graduated in 1982 from Cy-Fair High School and later joined the Army, being stationed in Germany before returning to Tulsa. Rob was a hard worker, holding various jobs, lastly working in a maintenance position at ORU. Rob enjoyed spending time with family, cooking, watching comedy movies, clay and metal working, and playing the bass guitar.

Rob was compassionate for others and had a quiet and gentle spirit. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.

Rob was preceded in death by his mother Viola and is survived by his father David A Warren of Tulsa, OK, his brothers David B (Karma) Warren of Wichita, KS, Ann M Helinski of Tulsa, OK, Kathleen S Blue of Catoosa, OK, Eric C (Mary) Warren of Beggs, OK, Michael J (Debra) Warren of Catoosa, OK, John E Warren of Tulsa, OK, Allan D Warren of Tulsa, and 3nieces and 7 nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Broken Arrow, Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 11:00 am.
