He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Smith and Opal Smith; his brother Charles Smith; and his son Dr. Gary D. Smith. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Crain Smith; his daughter Shari Singleton Smith; his grandchildren, Dr. Braden Singleton and Morgan Singleton; and his stepchildren, Jan Davis (Randy) and Kelly Crain. He is also survived by 5 great grandsons, 5 step-grandchildren and 4 step-great grandchildren.
