He was predeceased by: his parents, Clem Dunigan and Maggie Dunigan; his daughter Marylin Dunigan; his sisters, Mildred Elmira Mahan (Dunigan), Cora Marie Morris (Dunigan) and Visa Belle Watson (Dunigan); Betty Sue Dunigan (Lankford).
He is survived by: his significant other Betty Lankford; his son Max Dunigan (Dana Dunigan); his niece Sammye Faye Gentry; his grandchildren, Katie Gleason (Nick Gleason) and Ryan Dunigan (Ashley Dunigan (Morales)); and his great grandchildren, Tyler Gleason, Savannah Gleason, Ellie Gleason, Clementine Gleason, Amelia Dunigan and Samuel Dunigan.
The family is asking that no flowers be sent and instead to please make a donation to his hometown museum and family cemetery, as they both meant a lot to him.
