He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Cherry and Ethel Cherry (Shields); and his siblings, Clarence Glover, Raymond Cherry Jr., Betty Gaines and Pauline McMullin.

He is survived by: his wife Della J. Cherry (Gouge); his daughters, Ronda Cherry of Glenpool, Robin Harrison (Jason) of Glenpool and Randee Cherry of Glenpool; his grandchildren, Sandie, Adam Edmonds of Red Rock, AZ, Melanie, Matt Leslie of Vail, AZ, Megan Sanders of Colorado Springs, CO, Sara Vance, Allen Collins of Holdenville, OK, Rachel Vance, Tyler Harrison, Madison, Trent Cantrell of Broken Arrow, Allison Harrison, Paige Harrison, Cody Whetstine of Tulsa, Beau Whetstine, Bryce Whetstine, Colton Spencer and Caidence Billie of Glenpool; his great grandchildren, Madalie, Mason, Noah, Ryan, Able, Kila, Niah, Havanna, Caleb, Cherish, Alexandria and Sam; and his siblings, Wendell Cherry of Holdenville and Faye Evans of Holdenville, Numerous. He is also survived by Numerous nieces and Nephews.
