He was predeceased by: his mother Melba Nantz. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Nantz (Rabs); his daughter Jennifer Nantz; his father Cecil Nantz; and his sisters, Connie Morris (Tom) and Kimberly White. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made to either the American Heart Association or the Alzheimer's Association.
