Shirley June Bowen Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley June Bowen in Tulsa, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 23, 2026 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Byron Thomas and Artie Francis Clark (Woody); her husband Larry Bowen; her sister Beth Deering (Clark); and her grandson Charles Fenton Bowen (Chuck).
She is survived by: her children, Mark Bowen (Kathleen), Cynthia Gaskins (Kevin) and Michael Bowen; her friend Evelyn Pippin; and her grandchildren, Mallory Pontious (Jon), Mitchell Gaskins (Alanna), Matthew Gaskins (Maddy), Morgan Stoufer (Sheldon), Maisie Bowen, Faith Bowen, Jenna Bowen and Elias Bowen. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Shirley Bowen to the Beth Deering Scholarship Fund through the Waynesville R-VI Foundation and may be left at Memorial Chapel of Richland.
