It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen Barnes (Tulsa, Oklahoma), who passed away on July 15, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Kenneth Barnes Sr.; and his nephew Daniel Barnes. He is survived by: his mother Jan Larue Barnes (Farley); his wife Tara; his daughter Deena McCarter (Kobe); his grandson Kobe Jr.; his daughters, Lara Maswadeh (Eyad) and Sarah; his brothers, Kenneth Jr. (Taryn) and William; and his uncle Jim Farley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Steve's honor to Evergreen Baptist Church Missions Fund.
