He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Candler Sr. and Maxine Candler MeGown; and his brother Doffy Candler. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Amy Pruitt of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Matt Candler of Kansas City, Missouri; and his grandchildren, Jordan (Tulsa), Maddie, David, Avi and Phoebe (Kansas City).
In place of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Ted's memory to Anthem Ministries at anthemministries.org , a Christian non-profit ministry founded by his son, Matt Candler. Charitable donations are also encouraged to be made to Shepherd's Fold Ranch and Clarehouse Tulsa.
