He was predeceased by : his parents, Althea Walton and Z. B. Walton. He is survived by : his girlfriend Judy Shumway; his sister Gloria Smutek; his children, Joe Walton (Becky) and Dana Walton; and his grandson Benjamin. He is also survived by other loving family members and many friends.

A memorial service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Add'Vantage Funeral Service Chapel (9761 E 31st St, Tulsa, OK 74146).
